Synopsis of Atif Aslam :
Biography:
Atif Aslam is a Pakistani pop singer, who is born on March 12, 1983. He was born in Wazirabad a city of Pakistan and then came to Lahore to get educated and Rawalpindi. He is commonly recognized in South Asia and has a number of hit songs such as Aadat, Woh Lamhe, Pehli Nazar Mein and Meri Kahani. The major fan following was after the release of Doorie.
Atifs pre-school playgroup started in Model town Lahore at Kimberley Hall School. His first stage appearance was in a fancy dress show at his school when he was in 1st grade, where he performed as Imran Khan Captain of the Pakistani Cricket Team. Since then cricket was a craze for him. At that time he did not listen to any fussy kind of songs.
By the age of 9, his family shifted to Rawalpindi and joined the St Paul’s Cambridge School. Then in year 1995 he came back to Lahore and continued his studies in Divisional Public School. In the year 2001 he passed his FSc from PAF College, Lahore. He then did his Bachelors of Computer Science from PCBA/PICS (University of Central Punjab).
He start his music career by joining Jal a band in the year 1998. But three years after in December 2002 his debut song Aadat released on the Mekal Hassan Studio. The video of this song was directed by Umer Anwar in Karachi then he went on music concert venues at College Canteen Retaurants, Friends Place. His first album was ‘Jal Pari’ released in the year of 2004. Then after two years he released his 2nd album “Doorie” under the label of TIPS, ARY Album Sales since Release:5 Million plus Copies to date. His third album was ‘Meri Kahani’ that had been released in January 2008.
Atif is the first Pakistani singer ever to be nominated for “BEST SINGER” for 2 years in a row in biggest and most authenticated “Film fare Awards” of India.

3.Only Artist from Pakistan to perform in O2 Arena UK , The most prestigious Concert Venue in Europe.
