‘De Dana Dan’ is a comedy film and Priyadarshan directed the film while Pritam composed the music for this film. The movie is set to release on November 2, 2009. The starring of the film includes Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Sameera Reddy. Ratan Jain and Champak Jain are the producers of the film. The film has released under the recognition of ‘Venus Records & Tapes’.
The story of the film revolves around the life of two persons Nitin (Akhay Kumar) and Ram (Sunil Shetty). They are increasing their bank balance with their rich girlfriend’s money.  Both have bank accounts that are running in minus and their parasitic existence owes extremely to the wealth of their girlfriends. Their circumstances grow worst when their girlfriends Anjali (Katrina Kaif) and Manpreet (Sameera Reddy) asked them to earn money to elope with them or call it ‘The End’.
Now they are in need of money and looking for a medium to solve their problems. As a result of it, they made a plan to kidnap Moolchandji, the spoilt dog of Archana (Archana Puran Singh) who is a very rich lady. The story of ‘De Dana Dan’ blows up with funny twists and turns as the lovers try to get hold of the ransom money.
In their hunt for money, Nitin and Ram come across the hilarious motley of characters like a Chinese Don, a hired killer, an ACB officer, a club dancer, an ambassador, a young irritated wife, a letch, a drunken waiter and even a dead body that nobody is ready to claim. The film promises to leave you rolling with laughter, with an overlapping of absurdly funny situations ready to spoil Nitin and Ram’s daring plan, worth a million bucks! Paresh Rawal’s antics will be something to watch out for.
