After Starring in “Wake Up Sid” Ranbir Kapoor back in action to amuse their fans with ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’. This is a romantic comedy in which Katrina Kaif will be paired opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Salman Khan will also play a guest appearance in this film. Upen Patel, Asrani, Lalit Parashar, and Darshan Jariwala are the rest of the star cast. The movie has been directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Ramesh S Taurani. The film will be released under the banner ‘Tips Music Films’, on November 6, 2009.

Irshad Kamil has written the lyrics for 'Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani’, with the music composition being provided by Pritam Chakraborty! The movie offers us a preview into the life of Prem (Ranbir Kapoor), a optimistic guy, whose life rotates around a basic view – be happy...make others happy...keep the town happy... However, regardless of the honest aims of Prem, his fundamental leads to terrible penalty for him, the members of his Happy Club, and even the town, more often than not!

One fine day, Prem finishes snatching kidnap Jenny (Katrina Kaif), blundering her for someone else. Even after he becomes conscious of his fault, in spite of allowing go of Jenny, Prem attempts to pull a fast one over her father (for money of course). Jenny, who has been brought up by cold, callous and heartless foster parents, wants only one thing in life - to love and be loved in return. Even before he could realize, Prem finishes falling in love with the sweet and simple Jenny and even becomes a changed guy.

From someone who is not ready to move an inch, a hardly-working drifter, Prem turns into someone who begins working hard to earn money. Development takes place of innocence and he becomes a guy who puts his love’s (Jenny's) pleasure on top of everything else. On the other hand, Jenny is just in love with the idea of being in love.
